Stacey did it again, what a great new start to a new series. The heat between Maddox and Joss is unbelievable. I could almost feel the pages burning as I was reading them. There is chemistry between these two that goes beyond sex, they seem to connect from the start. The story line is great, flows along easily and the extra characters that make up this story fit in well. I can't wait to see the direction this new series goes. Thank you Stacey for another great story.
I love Stacey Kennedy! Have ready all her novels, but this for me personally is not a 5 star. It just felt off somehow. It was swoon worthy but fell a little short compared to others. I still enjoyed it very much and would really give it 31/2 stars. But like most of her other novels, I don't feel this is a re-reader for me for at least a year or so. I would still recommend purchasing it, cause it HOT, HOT, HOT! Like all her books, well written, good characters, and great HEA.
I love Stacey Kennedy, I love her books, I love her characters and I can say she doesn't disappoint in Heartbreaker. The one thing she does do though is give me my new favorite female lead! Joss is amazing, strong and she knows what she wants and she's not afraid to let you know it. Maddox is one hot a Alpha! He's not looking for a relationship neither is Joss they bot agree with what they want but is it really what they want? Stacey thank for another amazing story! I can't wait for the next book in this series!
Sexy doesn't even cover how hot this book is!! Joss and Maddix are absolutely perfect for each other. They do work together but they manager to deal with that and move it forward without it being icky. The writing is out of this world, like all of Stacey Kennedy's other books. I absolutely love the stories that she tells and this is right there at the top of the list now. Even with all the hot, steaminess this book never loses what's at the heart and that is a love story. This is truly a one night stand turned into reality. I really like that it took a year for it to happen, that way it just seems more realistic. I can't wait to read more of this series.
Heartbreaker starts out with a bang in the prologue and doesn't really let up until the end! It's sexy and intense and emotional - with both characters needing to get past their reticence towards relationships and the obstacles in their way so that they can take full advantage of the opportunity for happiness together. This is a great intro to Stacey Kennedy and it totally made me want to read more (specifically the next book in this series, Skirt Chaser, because we get to meet Greyson in this one and YAASSS) from the author! 3.75 out of 5 wine glasses.
Loved, loved, loved the chemistry between these two! Great characters that draw us immediately into the story and keep us turning page after page as their passion explodes. Super steamy! Looking forward to Grey's story!

3.5-4 stars. Maddox Hunt and Joss O' Neil had one hot encounter a year ago. Neither of them were looking for anything serious and now, Joss works with Maddox and he's her superior. Maddox has never gone back for seconds but something about Joss makes him crave for even thirds. I really liked both of the characters, particularly Joss, because she was very open and giving, yet she didn't disillusion herself or try to make the arrangement out to be more than what Maddox said it was. As for Maddox, he may be closed off emotionally, but he's very generous physically and it makes him crave more when it comes to Joss. They had super hot chemistry and I couldn't wait for Maddox to have his epiphany and see what was right in front of him that was his for the taking if he would just invest his heart. And I certainly look forward to seeing his best friend Greyson follow in his footsteps.
